This trip takes you to discover the best of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in just eight days. Your journey starts in colonial Hanoi, Vietnam, and then it’s on to the capital of Laos, Luang Prabang, with its famous temples and King Palace on the bank of the Mekong River. Then you will fly from Vientiane to Phnom Penh, the colonial of the Kingdom of Cambodia, where you will discover the Silver Pagoda, the majestic Royal Palace and the Khmer Art Museum. You will take a high speed boat to visit the ancient capital Siem Reap and explore the huge Angkor Wat complex of temples, pagodas and ancient walls that reflect the glory of former Khmer Empire.

Day 1: Hanoi - Luang Prabang (D)

After pick up from your hotel in Hanoi you will be transferred to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. You will be welcomed to Luang Prabang, which is the ancient first capital of the Lane Xang Kingdom, the center of religious life in Laos and today a World Heritage City. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in.

You may visit Wat Visoun (the 16th Centurytemple which served as a small museum for religious artifacts), Wat Aham (the early 19th Century temple, whose two guardian figures represent two characters from the Ramayana –Hanuman, the Monkey God and the fierce Yaksa), Wat Xiengthong and more.

Day 2: Luang Prabang (B/D)

An optional early start will give you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique to Laos, it being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual. You will depart for an excursion upstream on the Mekong to visit Pak Ou Cave, which is in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite the mouths of the Mekong and Ou rivers and home to hundreds of Buddha statues. Next, a visit to traditional rice wine production village Ban Sanghai. In the afternoon, you will return to Luang Prabang to visit the Kuangsi Water Falls, before and overnight stay in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Vientiane (B/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be free to go shopping or just exploring this enchanting town. In the afternoon, you will to the capital Vientiane. You will be picked up and transferred top your hotel. Then in the evening, you will enjoy a fine meal take an evening stroll along the banks of the Mekong River if you choose. You will have an overnight stay in Vientiane.

Day 4: Vientiane - Phnom Penh (B/L)

You will enjoy free time until transfer to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Following this, there will be a city tour including the Royal Place, the Silver Pagoda, the National Museum, the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide, and Wat Phnom. You will have an overnight stay in Phnom Penh.

Day 5: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap & Angkor Wat (B/D)

You will have breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for a flight to Siem Reap. On arrival at Siem Reap, you will check in to the hotel before beginning your sightseeing program. You will visit the Rolous Group: Bakong, Prah Ko, and Lolei temples. Then you will go to the Angkor Wat temple complex and enjoy watching the sunset on Phnom Bakheng, before and overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap (B/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Banteay Srey Temple, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple complex, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. You will have an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Departure (B)

In the morning you will board a boat on Tonle Sap Lake to enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages, complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals. Then you will visit the school known as "Les Artisans d'Angkor." You will then transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departing flight.
