Upon arrival in Hanoi, the guide will warmly welcome you at Noi Bai Airport and escort you to your hotel for check-in and refreshment. In the afternoon, explore Ngoc Son Temple, where locals pay homage to military leader Tran Hung Dao for his bravery during the battle for independence.
Afterwards, take a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Water Puppet show, a unique. Vietnamese art form originating from peasant culture. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner before overnighting in Hanoi.
At 8:00 AM: We'll pick you up from your hotel and head towards Ninh Binh (a 2-hour drive). Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the roadside as we make our way. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh city, our first stop is Hoa Lu, the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam, where we'll visit the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, marveling at their unique ancient architecture.
Next, we'll proceed to Tam Coc for lunch at a delightful restaurant offering local delicacies.
Afterward, embark on a small sampan boat to explore Tam Coc, known as "three caves," on a 2.5-hour journey. Experience breathtaking views reminiscent of Halong Bay, featuring majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious caves, and tranquil countryside landscapes of serene streams, rice paddies, and verdant fields. It's a perfect opportunity for photography enthusiasts to capture unforgettable moments and scenery.
We'll also take a cycling tour to Bich Dong pagoda nearby and ascend the mountain for a panoramic view of Bich Dong and Tam Coc. We'll return to Hanoi in the late afternoon, ensuring you have ample time to cherish the day's experiences.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic 3-hour shuttle bus journey through the Red River Delta towards Ha Long Bay. We'll make a comfort stop for photos and coffee before reaching Ha Long City.
Upon arrival, transfer to a traditional sailing junk for a captivating cruise through Ha Long Bay's limestone cliffs and emerald waters, offering breathtaking views of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Indulge in a delightful seafood lunch onboard, followed by opportunities for swimming, kayaking, and exploring the nearby limestone caves.
Return to the harbor by cruise and then transfer back to your hotel in the Old Quarter.
