07:30 AM: Leaving the town, we set off for the Mekong Delta, the largest rice granary in Vietnam.
The program will start with a tour of Cai Be floating market. The rowboat will then take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy a peaceful time.
Return to our boat to cross one of the longest rivers in the world, the Mekong River, to reach An Binh Island. Walk on the handmade canal to Ut Trinh's house and have a buffet lunch.
After lunch, we can walk around this orchard and enjoy a few cups of tea while listening to traditional music in the old house. Walk in the local village to visit the local factory to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, rice pop... Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.
The cycling option can be done for fun! It will be wonderful to cycle on the village roads to see the daily life of the locals: orchards, schools, churches, pagodas, traditional houses and maybe even the way of picking fruit of ancestors in the Mekong Delta...
Visit the brick kilns where you can see how the locals make beautiful pottery from clay The journey will end in Vinh Long city!
Then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City by your own car. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
