At Hoa Lu, visit the temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le kings and hear the story of Vietnam’s former capital. Continue to Tam Coc for lunch, then take a sampan ride through its limestone landscape and cave passages. The river journey and surrounding fields give you a very different view of the country. Enjoy a gentle cycle towards Bich Dong and time at the pagoda; guests who prefer can use the arranged alternative transfer instead of cycling. Stay in Ninh Binh tonight, ready to continue towards Halong Bay without returning to Hanoi between these two stops.

Continue directly to the bay. Start early from Ninh Binh and travel by road to the harbour confirmed for your day cruise. The pickup is arranged around the boat’s check-in time, with a suitable buffer for the road journey. Step aboard for limestone-island views and lunch on the water. Follow the selected boat’s scheduled cave visit and water activities; kayaking or a small-boat outing brings you closer to the scenery when operating. Return to the harbour in the afternoon and continue to your hotel in Hanoi. This is a day cruise, not an overnight sailing. Tomorrow’s flight leaves from Hanoi, so the evening is kept free for a comfortable rest.

Fly south, then follow the lanterns. Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the confirmed morning direct flight to Da Nang. Flying takes around 1 hour 20–30 minutes; airfare is quoted separately. Meet the local team on arrival, transfer to the hotel and continue to the afternoon excursion at the agreed time. In Cam Thanh, enjoy a bamboo basket-boat ride through the coconut waterways and learn about local fishing traditions. Continue to Hoi An Old Town for the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and a heritage house such as Tan Ky or Phung Hung, then the Japanese Covered Bridge area and smaller lanes. A traditional performance can be included when its timetable fits the visit.
