The sample starts in Hanoi and finishes in Ho Chi Minh City. It includes Sa Pa, Ha Long Bay, Cu Chi and the Mekong Delta with a night in Can Tho. Send your flight details if you need different arrival or departure arrangements.
There are nine nights: three in Hanoi, one in Sa Pa, three in Ho Chi Minh City, one in Can Tho and one aboard a Ha Long cruise. Hotel, room and cabin categories are confirmed in your quotation.
The flight is part of the route on Day 6, but its fare is excluded from the displayed land-tour price. Vietpower Travel can quote and arrange it separately, including the baggage allowance you need.
The sample combines shared tour transfers and private airport transfers. Ask for a fully private arrangement if your family or group prefers its own vehicle, guide or pace; we will confirm the services and revised price.
Cat Cat includes sloping village paths and steps. Fansipan is reached by cable car, with walking and steps at the mountain site. Entering narrow tunnel sections at Cu Chi is optional. Tell us about mobility concerns so we can adjust the visits.
Yes. Day 8 continues to Can Tho for a hotel night, followed by an early floating-market boat trip on Day 9 before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. For a shorter southern trip, see our two-day Mekong programme.

A gentle Hanoi arrival. Your driver meets you at Noi Bai Airport and takes you to your hotel. The day is kept free so you can rest after a long flight, settle in and discover the surrounding streets at your own pace. Arrival details and the meeting point are sent before you travel.

Into the northern mountains. Travel from Hanoi to Sa Pa, then visit Cat Cat village for a walk through its hillside setting. Enjoy valley scenery, village paths and a closer view of local life before returning to Sa Pa. The road journey and village walking make this an active day; comfortable shoes and a small overnight bag help keep it manageable.

Fansipan from above. Take the cable car into the Hoang Lien mountain landscape and explore the mountain site at a comfortable pace. There are steps and uphill sections beyond the cable car; tell your guide if you prefer a lighter visit. After the programme, travel back to Hanoi for your hotel night, ready for the bay the next day. The final timing follows the cable car’s operation and your agreed transfer arrangements.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. Leave Hanoi for the cruise port, board your selected ship and settle into your cabin. Lunch is served as the scenery opens into limestone islands. Enjoy the cruise’s afternoon programme, with kayaking or swimming and a cooking activity, then dinner and a memorable night on the water. The confirmed vessel sets the activity order and safe places to explore.

A bay morning, then Hanoi. Start with the cruise’s Tai Chi programme, visit Sung Sot Cave and enjoy breakfast and brunch before disembarking. The cave visit involves steps, so wear suitable shoes. Return to Hanoi for a hotel night; this sample keeps the southbound flight for tomorrow rather than adding an airport rush to the cruise day.

Fly south and settle into Saigon. Transfer from your Hanoi hotel to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, meet your driver and continue to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for a rest, a cafe or your own introduction to the city. Domestic airfare is quoted separately; the flight timing, baggage and airport buffers are confirmed in your written itinerary.

City life and the stories of Cu Chi. Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s history and everyday atmosphere with your local guide, then visit the Cu Chi tunnel complex. Learn how the underground network was used and see its remarkable construction. Walking above ground offers plenty to discover; entering the narrow tunnel sections is optional. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for your hotel night.

From Saigon to delta waterways. Travel into the Mekong Delta for its river scenery and rural life. Enjoy the programme’s boat excursion and local visits, with lunch along the way. Continue onwards to Can Tho instead of returning to Ho Chi Minh City, then have dinner and settle into your hotel. The exact boat embarkation and local stops are confirmed with your final programme.

Catch the delta’s morning rhythm. Set out early by boat for the floating-market programme in Can Tho, seeing trade and daily life on the water while the market is most active. The sample features Cai Rang; the final boat timing and embarkation are confirmed locally. After the morning excursion and lunch, travel back to Ho Chi Minh City for your last hotel night.

A relaxed finish around your flight. Have breakfast and enjoy free time as your departure schedule allows. Your driver takes you from the hotel to the airport with time for check-in. If your flight leaves late, ask us to quote late checkout or an extra activity before departure.

Pack for changing settings: comfortable walking shoes, a light rain layer, sun protection and an extra warm layer for Sa Pa. A small overnight bag is useful for the mountain stay and cruise. Carry your passport and essential medication with you rather than packing them into luggage you may leave in storage.
Cat Cat, the Fansipan mountain site and Sung Sot Cave include paths or steps. Cu Chi tunnel entry is optional. Tell Vietpower Travel about children, older travellers, mobility needs and dietary preferences before booking so we can arrange suitable alternatives or a more relaxed version.
The sample returns to Hanoi after Sa Pa and after the cruise, then flies south on Day 6. The Mekong section continues to Can Tho and returns to Ho Chi Minh City after the floating market. If you want fewer hotel changes or a shorter journey, ask us to redesign the connections around your flights; any changes are confirmed in the revised itinerary.
