Follow the scent of northern Thai cooking, drift along the Mekong beneath limestone cliffs and wake to islands outside your bay cabin. This journey links Bangkok’s gilded courtyards, Chiang Mai’s mountain-village life and Luang Prabang’s riverside temples with Vietnam’s old streets, waterways and lantern-lit evenings.
The 24-day Thailand, Laos and Vietnam cultural journey runs from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City. Three Bangkok nights, three in Chiang Mai, four in Luang Prabang and four in Hoi An give the guided discoveries room to breathe. Two full independent days and relaxed transfer days help you enjoy the longer route.

Discover the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, then follow a Chao Phraya boat segment to Wat Arun. A separate day brings the trading scenes of Maeklong and Damnoen Saduak. Fly north to Chiang Mai for Mae Kampong’s wooded village paths and a market-to-kitchen cooking experience, with an independent afternoon after lunch.
Settle into one base for temples, the riverfront and a guided introduction to Wat Xieng Thong. Spend a separate day at Kuang Si’s cascades and forest paths, then travel by boat along the Mekong to Pak Ou’s sacred caves. Lunches and rest breaks give each outing its own rhythm; evenings are yours to enjoy nearby.
Hanoi’s Temple of Literature and old streets lead to Trang An’s rowing boats and two Ninh Binh nights. Enjoy an independent countryside day before travelling directly to the cruise harbour. After your night on a shared bay vessel, return to a Hanoi hotel before flying to Da Nang and continuing to Hoi An.
Four Hoi An nights combine trading-port stories, gardens and a local-host activity with time for your own discoveries. Finish with Ho Chi Minh City’s history and a Ben Tre day among coconut workshops and garden-lined waterways, returning to the same city hotel.
