Starting from Hanoi, the charming capital, you'll explore the Old Quarter and enjoy a traditional water puppet show to gain insight into the culture and people of Hanoi. In Ninh Binh, experience a scenic rowing boat trip in Tam Coc before marveling at the stunning limestone karst formations in Halong Bay on a day-ship cruise. Relish your time in the bay with a seafood lunch, kayaking, and swimming. This itinerary is ideal for a short trip in Northern Vietnam.
Wandering Through Vietnam Mountains and Seaside: Finding Peace is a soulful 9-day journey curated for those seeking a harmonious blend of Vietnam’s mist-shrouded peaks and its tranquil coastal fringes. Moving away from the high-octane city circuits, this itinerary prioritizes natural immersion and spiritual rejuvenation, guiding you from the spiritual heart of the Northern Highlands to the emerald waters of the Tonkin Gulf.
The tour is thoughtfully paced to allow for "wandering"—unhurried exploration of ethnic minority villages in Sapa, sunrise meditations on the sundeck of a Halong Bay cruise, and quiet moments in the ancient, lantern-lit alleys of Hoi An. By combining the rugged beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range with the therapeutic rhythm of the sea, this 9-day escape serves as a restorative retreat for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to find peace in the diverse landscapes of Vietnam.
Sapa: The Kingdom of Clouds
Ascend into the Hoang Lien Son mountains to discover the dramatic terraced rice fields of Muong Hoa Valley. The tour features gentle trekking to the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, where you can connect with the Black H’mong and Giay people, followed by a cable car journey to the "Roof of Indochina" at Fansipan Peak for panoramic views above the mist.
Halong Bay: A Floating Sanctuary
Spend 24 hours aboard a luxury boutique cruise in Halong Bay. Wander through the cavernous beauty of Sung Sot Cave, kayak into the secluded Luon Cave, and enjoy a sunrise Tai Chi session on the sundeck. The limestone karsts and emerald waters provide a profound sense of stillness and natural wonder.
Hoi An: The Ancient Seaside Charm
Experience the peaceful intersection of river and sea in Hoi An. Beyond the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, you will wander through the organic Tra Que vegetable village and take a traditional basket boat through the Bay Mau coconut forest, concluding your days with a sunset walk along the pristine shores of An Bang Beach.
Hanoi: Temple and Lake Serenity
Before heading to the mountains, find tranquility in the capital at the Temple of Literature and the 6th-century Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shores of West Lake. A quiet walk around Hoan Kiem Lake at dawn offers a glimpse into the local lifestyle and the peaceful "soul" of Hanoi.

Is the trekking in Sapa difficult? The treks are "soft-adventure" style, meaning they follow established paths and can be adjusted in length. If you prefer not to trek, we can arrange for local electric carts or private cars to take you to the viewpoints.
Will I have time to relax on my own? Yes. The itinerary includes dedicated free time in both Sapa and Hoi An, specifically designed for you to enjoy a spa treatment or a quiet coffee by the rice fields.
What is the weather like in the mountains? Sapa is significantly cooler than the rest of Vietnam. Even in summer, evenings are mild. In winter (Dec–Feb), it can get quite cold, so we recommend checking the forecast and packing accordingly.
Are the domestic flights included in the price? Yes, the flight from Hanoi to the central coast is part of the all-inclusive package.
Can I extend the "seaside" portion? Certainly. Many travelers choose to add 2-3 extra nights in Da Nang or Hoi An at the end of the 9-day tour. Just let our consultant know during the booking process.
