Start with a gentle arrival day, unpack once for the main part of the trip and finish in Hoi An rather than driving back to Da Nang after your lantern evening.

Hue is the longest sightseeing day. If you prefer a slower heritage visit, add a Hue overnight stay and reshape the route Hue → Da Nang → Hoi An. My Son Sanctuary, a cooking class or an extra Hoi An night can also be added to a tailored programme; these are not included in this seven-day sample.

Your private driver meets you at Da Nang Airport and transfers you to your hotel. This arrival transfer has no guide, matching the sample arrangements.

After breakfast, join the shared excursion pickup at your Da Nang hotel. Travel to Ba Na Hills and take the cable car up into the hills, with changing views of forest and the coastal landscape.
Walk across the Golden Bridge and explore the gardens, pagoda areas and French Village along the day’s operating route. Enjoy the included buffet lunch and time for the park attractions before taking the cable car down and returning to your hotel.

Leave Da Nang with the shared excursion for a full-day visit to Hue. The sample includes scenic stops around Hai Van Pass, Lang Co and Lap An Lagoon; the exact pass or tunnel arrangement is confirmed with the day’s route and conditions.
Visit Khai Dinh Tomb, known for its mix of architectural styles and intricate decoration. Enjoy a local lunch, then explore the Imperial Citadel and visit Thien Mu Pagoda beside the Perfume River.
Return to your Da Nang hotel in the evening. This is the longest sightseeing day in the programme. A Perfume River cruise is not included in the listed sample; it can be discussed as part of a tailored Hue stay.

After breakfast, check out of your Da Nang hotel. Arrange your luggage with the driver for the move to Hoi An, then join the excursion to Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Explore the palm-lined waterways in a traditional basket boat and learn about the local fishing culture.
Continue into Hoi An Ancient Town. Walk among historic merchant houses, visit the assembly hall and Japanese Covered Bridge area, and explore the lanes and local crafts along the day’s sightseeing route.
Enjoy a dinner of Hoi An specialities, a short Hoai River boat ride and time among the lantern streets and night market. Your hotel tonight is in Hoi An, rather than back in Da Nang, so you can enjoy the evening more comfortably.

March–April is a useful planning window for the central coast, with warmer weather and generally less rain. Summer brings hotter conditions; Hue and Hoi An are wetter towards the end of the year, especially around September–January. Ba Na Hills can be cooler, misty or rainy even when the coast is warm. Check your exact dates with Vietpower Travel rather than assuming every beach or mountain day will be clear.
